Is that supposed to read $7.29 instead of $72.90? If not, then that is some really expensive gas, diesel or not.
EDIT: or is it 72.9 cents?

72 cents a liter? Fuck this stupid province.

We’re Canadian. It’s litres. 72.9 cents per litre.

Ah that actually makes sense now. Diesel is nearly double, which seems ridiculous.

It’s 65c/L in Ontario and the Maritimes right now

Ouch, doesn’t surprise me though, BC is a hellzone for motorists.

That’s comically cheap, from my perspective. $0.72 CAN = €0.46. Here it’s at least 2.5 times as much, and that’s the cheapest it has been in a very long time. Most of it fuel tax, obviously.
Doesn’t stop soccer moms from driving their X5s though. Most of which are diesels anyway, and diesel is still cheaper than gasoline here.

Yeah, I know europe gets shafted. But we’re in North America!!
I’m just choked they closed the border. I could go fill up REAL CHEAP then.

Ouch... G as is only $1.65 per gallon here. That would only be 44 cents per liter or so.

My dad has a huge tool box/ reserve bed tank in his F250, I bet you dollars to doughnuts he has filled it and put Stabil in it. He goes between MT and CO and usually fills up in WY.

What does this come out to in USD/gallon? I can handle one metric unit but when you add Canada bucks it makes it harder to wrap my head around.

Down here in Freedomland it’s $1.35 for a whole gallon.

Now you know how I feel, with the currency difference and the USgallon being smaller than a UKgallon.
Our cars are in UKmpg, but we buy our fuel in litres.

But those higher fuel prices are saving the environment!!!
![]() 03/28/2020 at 19:50 |

It’s about US$0.53 per 0.27 US gallon
